Flora and fauna

On the territory of the Priuralsky district, the animal world is characterized by a wealth and variety of forms. Reindeer live everywhere here. Of the mammals, there are representatives that constantly inhabit the territory of the district: elk, brown bear, red and black-brown fox, ermine, muskrat, otter, white hare, wolverine, polar wolf, arctic foxes, lemmings, mink, hollow.The territory of the district is one of the important centers of reproduction of populations of waterfowl and near-water birds. Here lie the most important migration routes of waterfowl, including: tundra swan, squeaker, white-cheeked goose, red-throated goose, white-billed loon, gray goose. These species are listed in the Red Books of Russia and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Of the Red Book species on the territory nest: osprey, kloktun, golden eagle, white-tailed eagle, gray crane, gyrfalcon and other species. The main objects of protection on the territory of the reserve are: hummingbird, common turpan, osprey, golden eagle, white-tailed eagle, gray crane, sandpiper, magpie, owl, gray shrike, capercaillie, hawk, peregrine falcon, white owl. Biological objects of protection listed in the Red Books of Russia and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug: reptile species: viviparous lizard, Siberian anglerfish, common viper. Amphibian species: grey toad. Mammalian species: wolverine, river otter
